New Technical Collection Arrives
Finally, Black Heart Equestrian’s brand new technical collection is now available! After spending over a year developing the best stretchy technical fabrics and putting numerous samples through rigorous testing our products are here and online now!
Breeches - the fabric for these breeches is so stretchy and comfortable they are perfect for riding in and look super stylish. As an international dressage rider for GB I’ve spent many years wearing breeches of all shapes and sizes. I have taken the best bits from all of the breeches I’ve worn to help me create my very own, bespoke design. The fabric used has the best stretch available to aid mobility in the saddle yet it is lightweight enough to be breathable and not bulky. I personally like to ride in breeches with a full silicone seat grip whereas I know many of you brave jumpers out there prefer a silicone knee grip so our range offers both full seat and knee grip options using our Pro-Grip technology. The cut of the breeches is designed to be extremely flattering and elastic inserts in the waistband are there to be as forgiving and comfortable as possible! The breeches have a sock at the bottom of the leg so they fit any height rider and the sock fits under a riding boot comfortably with no annoying velcro!
The Black Heart branding on the thigh is in tonal silicone print so is not too intrusive and on the white breeches it’s subtle enough for competition use. They are finished off with a gorgeous metal plate featuring our brand logo to the rear belt loop for an added touch of class!
Base Layers - these have been designed for riding in and for other sporting activities as well as being smart enough to wear with jeans every day. They are made out of a top quality fabric to fit and feel like a second skin. They have very clever features such as a hidden pocket on the rear seam, big enough for a mobile phone and also with a tiny hole for head phone wires - perfect for listening to music during yard duties! I have included thumb holes for those wearing the base layer in chilly weather and an emergency hair bobble in the form of a zip pull - just what every girl needs for riding when they forget or break a hair band!
Leggings - wow, where do I start with these?! They are AMAZING - so comfortable and very flattering! They have been made out of a matt four way stretch quality fabric which makes them have friction or ‘purchase’ to the saddle - absolutely perfect for riding and also for gym and casual wear. I live in leggings on the yard, in the gym and basically all day, everyday! The high waist band is sufficiently elastic to give a nice ‘hold you in’ feel without being too firm or tight for a muffin top! A useful double pocket has been included on the leg, big enough to fit most sizes of mobile phone and is tight enough to hold it in neatly in place as well as room for money or a key.
